I'm going home

I have finally finished all of my DT projects for Scrap n Art Magazine, Kreatorville Kraft Kit Club, and even had time to squeeze in three just for me layouts. You know the ones you do just for your own creative pleasure. I really enjoyed the results of all my projects this time around. I wish I could share them all with you but you'd have to get yourself a Scrap n Art subscription to see most of it. Or wait until the 21st of for the Kit Club reveal.

It has been a year and a half since I've seen my family and I am super excited to be going to California for 8 days. We won't take Jeremiah and Madison with us. They will stay with family here in Texas. But we aren't completely free of children. Bailey will be with us. Which is pretty cool since our California family has never seen her. I am so ready to touch down and see the fam and take lots of pictures.

While I can't share all of my creations with you guys yet. You know I couldn't just leave you ladies without anything for 8 days. I hope you ladies find some inspiration in the work below. Stay tuned, visit back often. I will have some exciting RAWKS coming up soon and not to mention the Kreatorville Kraft Kit Club complete reveal. I am super excited. Oh by the way. The titles on the "It's Ok Bailey" and the "Total Bliss Layouts are by Aptly Titled. They can be found and purchased here (http://www.etsy.com/shop/kiwithekreator). And they ship for free in your Kreatorville Kraft Kit, so be sure to get one.

THE AWESOMENESS HAS ARRIVED!!!!!! HUUMMMM!!

I woke up this morning, had my quiet time with the Lord and then I heard a knock at the door that scared the daylights out of me. When I opened the door it was a package from Kreatorville Krafts Kit Club. I did a quick dance and put it down to feed the baby. Apparently she was just as startled as I was by the knock at the door, because she woke up like "Who Dat" LOL.

I have a new job and I love it. I am the design team coordinator for Kreatorville Krafts Kit Club. The kit will be revealed and available for sale November 21st. If you are interested in putting yours on reserve please email me or Keandra at...

tajkorekreator@kreatorvillekraft.com

keandra@kreatorvillekraft.com

The kits are priced competitively at $37.50 plus shipping for a one time purchase or$32.50 plus shipping with a subscription. The blog will go live in a few days and you ladies can go by and check out the sneak peeks of the kit.

Ok so I knew the kit was going to be awesome but I didn't know it was going to be this much AWESOMENESS in it. I mean the possibilities are endless. If you have a boy then this is the kit for you. If you have a girl then this is the kit for you. If your an artistic scrapper, or a mainstream scrapper then this is the kit for you. It is just ***AWESOME***

I loved the kit so much I started to create right away. I created this layout in about an hour. The colors and the embellies are perfect so they came together great and fast. I was able to get Keandra to give me the go ahead of sharing some of the AWESOMENESS the kit has to offer. On to the AWESOMENESS I have been telling you ladies about for weeks.

P.S
You are gonna dig the guest designer this month. She is all that and a master.

AWESOMENESS IS ON THE WAY!!!!

Ok so there is a new kit club on the way. And I am so excited because it's pure "AWESOMENESS". Yes I said it "Awesome-NESS". A made up word never hurt anyone. Anywho, please stay tuned for all the awesomeness to come. I have 3 layouts to share with you.

The star on the school layout started off as raw chipboard and was sprayed with 2 different shades of glimmer mist and then painted with crackle paint. Then I sprayed more glimmer mist on it. Oh, and the holes were punched using my crop-a-dile. Give it a try I would love to see what you come up with. I would love to share the thicker trick with you on the "What's this?" Layout, but you have to visit the Scrap n Art blog to see those details. Here is the link http://www.scrapnart.com/blog/

And don't forget to visit the Pink Sketches blog to see this weeks sketch. Be sure to give it a go and have some fun with it. It's super cool. Peace out ya'll

A Scrappy weekend!!!

Over the past few weekends I have been going over to Scrappers Boutique in NRH Texas. It's our local scrapbook store. Well this past weekend all the crops were sold out. I have also been teaching a few ladies how to scrapbook. One of the ladies joined me this weekend and my sister in law came along for the fun. We had food, fun, and a whole lot of scrap. I wanted to share some of those scrappy layouts with you ladies.

The layouts below are Charmains Layouts. Oh and by the way ladies these are her first ever layouts.

Back in business

On Friday my internet was turned off by AT&T on accident. You know I was not only upset but very sick, lol. Over the last couple of weeks I have been working on several layouts that I hadn't shared for one reason or another. But my baby girl Bailey got to some pages and decided to remove and restructure some things. Thank God I had already taken pictures of them. So if I had any plans for these layouts that went with her destruction. Anywho so here are the layouts before they were damaged.

I also did my first sports page. My son has been playing for about two years but this is my first layout of it. I plan on starting an entire book just for his football career. Thanks for stopping by.

a mini and more

So it's always fun getting goodies in the mail. Especially when they are scrap related. But this wasn't just a goodie box. When I tell you there was just goodness overflowing out of this box. THANK YOU KEANDRA!!!!!!! The children went just as crazy as I did when they found out there was goodies in the box for them too. I am not joking when I say since the box has arrived Jeremiah wears his visor every single day. He wears it to football practice and after practice and everywhere in between. Be sure to take note of the Heidi Swapp letters and all the wonderful thickers. I have already started to use some of the stuff in it. Since there is just entirely to much stuff to show it all to you. I will show you the pile and the highlights. The mini album is for the childrens God mother. I don't do many of them but I had fun with this one.

The past week

my family and I have done pretty much "nothing". But alot has happened. I received an email from Mrs. Kelly Goree asking to use my "Park Cutie" layout in the Basic Grey August newsletter. Which I was super excited about and can't wait for. My layout "my dad my friend" was featured in asb.com's newsletter. And I have 2 altered art projects published in the July/August issue of Scrap n Art Magazine. My friend Keandra is sending me a box of scrappy goodness. Which I can't wait to receive. This girl has amazing talent. She is making her own titles and ladies when I say your gonna want these I mean it. Here is her blog address. Go check it out you won't be disappointed. http://kiwithekreator.blogspot.com/2009/07/it-was-best-of-times_15.html Myia another scrappy friend is sending me an exciting gift, the rock on love collection by Prima and Adrienne Looman. I am a big fan of her work. And I am looking forward to rocking out this collection, big time. Thanks Myia!! I am having a great scrappy month. I really looking forward to receiving our new DT box from Scrap n Art. I love the team and all the girls are great. Not to mention we get to work with some amazing products and talent. I also met an amazing lady by the name of Vicki from sb.com who lives near enough to me. She invited me to be a member of her scrapbooking club and told me about a wonderful new store called "Scrappers Boutique". This store is just toooooo cute. And the owner Cherie is a doll. I went yesterday to crop and had a great time. She has all the newest products and is getting tons more in from CHA. Which you ladies know is this weekend ,right? Anywho, I have a million projects that have been completed with the last month. But you'll have to subscribe to Scrap n Art Ezine to get to see them. So go get your subscription on. LOL, thanks for stopping by!!

life over the past few months

So over the last month and a half my family's life has been crazy busy. My husband prepared to return to school full time, my son Jeremiah started football pratice 4 days a week. I recieved a 17 pound box of scrappy goodness from Scrap n Art Magazine for the Sep/Oct issue. Which you won't want to miss. I have been a scrappin fool since June and I have finally lost my mojo. I luckily didn't lose it until I was about 8 projects away from being done with my DT work. Anywho, my work is complete and I just want to share the last couple of weeks of my life with you all. In the midst of all that has been going on my husband decided we weren't busy enough. So he wanted us to give the house a makeover. For those of you who don't know, we have been living in Texas for a little over a year. For the last 10 years (which is all the years of my adult life) California has been my home. Steven was born and raised in California. We moved to Texas bought, this house and he says now it's time to fix it up. So here are a few before and after photos, and off all the things that have been going on. Well some I will upload a few 4th of July photos later. You know life, and family photo shoots. Oh ladies, draps or no drapes? We still have a lot to do, such as wall hangings, and plants. Thanks for stopping by!!!

Scrappers block crop-a-thon Layouts

This one is for the crop a thon as well. The challenge is to use recycle scrapbook packing, you can also use other packing as well. I used bubble wrap and painted it, my prima packing, the background is cardboard that I got from an sb.com order. I sprayed it with glimmer mist to give the cardboard background some personality. The smoothie font thickers have been coated with crackle paint for a softer but rustic look. I also used Tim Holtz alcohol inks to give the crystals some unique color. Give it a try. This was mega fun and super easy. TFL don't forget to come and play along. I am hosting this one as well.

(Scrappers Block Challenge # 4) Just down right smelly

Ok it's that time again. So, on to Challenge #4. SENSES!
We have all heard the sayings 'wake up and smell the coffee', 'feel the burn' and taste of your own medicine' but now is the time to incorporate these all important senses into you LO's.
They are the less obvious, but all important things that help us to remember and tell a story.
