Sketchy Thursdays Reveal

it's Thursday and time for another fab sketch.

I had alot of fun with this sketch. I like that when you see it you think simple layers. But there is room for lots of layers.
here is the sketch

and my take

I am off to wash my hair and hopefully scrap. If no scrapping happens today then all day Saturday with my friend Leslie Ashe. Really excited to get some cropping time in since it's been over two months since I have even been to the scrap store. Can you believe it? It's been torture, but it's all been for a good reason. Anywho, hope you enjoyed the reveal. Have a great weekend. Happy Scrapping!!!

New Shimmerz Paints/ Blog Hop Winner

Hi ladies, so so very sorry for the late post on the winner of the blog hop RAK. My computer has been down. But I am back and here to share with you the brand new amazing colors from Shimmerz Paints as well as the blog hop winner. Oh girls these are going to be a treat like no other.

First up are the
Coloringz:
Coloringz are super opaque, highly saturated colors without shimmer. We're talking serious color here! Yet, they are still water-based and non-toxic. They'll still clean up with soap and water just like all the other Shimmerz products
Look at how intense these (10) colors are??? My OH MY!!!

And next...
Shimmeringz:
Shimmeringz are super shimmery sprays with only shimmer, no color. (There are 5 of them!)

Heavy Metal - a combo of 3 different metallics
Goldie Lox - gold shimmer
Concrete - silver shimmer
Baby's Breath - white shimmer
Bronze Bomshell - bronze shimmer
Check them out in action on this video.

Stay tuned for the DT reveals using the new colors. The new colors are now on sale so click here to place your order and in the comment field let them know Taj sent you.
oops I forgot to mention they are on sale through Feb 14th. Have fun shopping!!

Sketchy Thursdays

It's one of my favorite times of the new year. Why you ask?? It's simple CHA!! I get so excited to see all the new fun things the mfr have been working on for us crafters for the winter season. It's finally cold here in Texas and it's time for some catching up.
I have decided to challenge myself each month on finishing product in my stash. And what product doesn't get used I will donate to a childrens hosptial, or womens shelter. Thanks to MaryAnn for that wonderful idea.

I will name two of the lines in my stash each month and upload the projects once they have been completed. Even though its already the 13th of the Jan I will start this month.

Here are the lines...
Nook and Pantry- Basic Grey
Porcelain - Basic Grey

Lets see how much I can get done using both these products. Wish me luck!! If any of you ladies want to do this with me using your stash of course. Leave me a comment, so I can check your blogs and drool over your creations.

Speaking of stashes, this weeks sketchy thursdays sketch prompted me to take a look at my stash and I came across Early Bird by Cosmo Cricket.
I kept the embellishing simple but was happy to work with it again.

Here is the sketch...

Here is my take

Happy New Year/ So much to share

So 2011 is upon us. I am so grateful for all the wonderful blessings I had in 2010. I had such fun designing for several companies, and creating I don't know how many beautiful projects that my family and I will enjoy for years to come. While I had major blessings in 2010. I am happy to see it go with the arrival of a new year and many more amazing blessings to come.

Many of you remember my "being transparent" post? Many of you ladies lend your words of encouragement, websites, and even business. And with the faith you put in me, and my faith in the talent God has given me. I decided to start Taj White Photography. While starting my business doesn't not mean I am an expert. It does mean I love what I do. From the picture to the paper and the glue.
So from the bottom of my heart THANK YOU SO MUCH,mwah!!!!!!

I had the lovely sisters of Coffeshop Designs design my logo and blog for me and if you click here you can see what they came up with. And take a look at the new Phototgraphy blog and a few pics. I hope you decide to become a follower and if you are in need of memory preservation please give me a call or drop me an email.

A recent photo session of Madison, much more to share on the blog
