It's beginning to look alot like christmas...

I am a huge fan of the christmas seaons. Which makes lots of sense since Christmas and Fall run together :) I love the crowds, shopping, candy canes, bright happy colors, pine smelling trees, and the whimsical make believe. It's all so childlike and happy :)

This month Martha has done it again with some amazing kits featuring We R Memory keepers, Echo Park, and I Believe from Little Yellow Bicycle. Each of these kits can be seen here.

Over the next few days I wanna share some of the things I've been working on. Yes I have been working on something-- I haven't been MIA for nothing:) Well not totally

We've trimmed the tree, decorated the house, and even started to get gifts. That's great for us, we are usually behind on that sort of thing.

Ok onto the super fun stuff. I decided to have alot of Holiday fun with this kit. So I made a few different projects other than my normal layouts.
Here is the first one. My first tree form. Tons of fun making this!!

And final for today...
my very first hand made ornament :) I got the red glass backing from Hobby Lobby for 50 cents, Whooohooo! Gotta love a deal like that

I hope you enjoy these as much as I did making them. I have more to share from this kit. Please stop by for some more fun Sunday. Saturday I will be revealing my fun Holly Jolly project from My Little Shoebox. If you haven't stopped by the MLS blog. Be sure to stop by and check out all the amazing DT projects using our fab Christmas Line. Thanks for stopping by...

CSD Challenge & Sketchy Thursdays Sketch

For this challenge you don't necessarily have to create something around a superhero per se, but you can create something around someone you consider your hero in life. Give them the recognition they so deserve!

here is my take on the challenge

And now for some sketchy fun

and my take on the sketch
I love this line, one of my favorites from last year. This year in Tx we have had an unusally warm fall. We are still in the 70's. Bailey asked if she could go outside and blow bubbles. While watching her I thought to myself - this is her Indian Summer.

Thanks for stopping by ladies. Hope you all get to play along with us :)

Happy Birthday Jeremiah & CSD Challenge

Happy 10th Birthday to a super special kid. He is fun loving, smart, and all mine :)
I can't believe how fast the years are moving on by. And how fast you are growing up. I'd like for him to STOP it, please!! This is his last year of elementary and I am shivering in my boots. What am I gonna do when girls start calling, or even worse he wants to call them????????????? Oh no!! my stomach just started to hurt. Ok, Ok, deep breathes, calm down self. Ok I'm back!!

Happ Birthday Baby!!

Now onto some Dirty little secrets. Yes, you read it right. That is the name of the challenge this week for Candy Shoppe Designs. And wait until you see what the girls have done, wow!

November is usually the month people GIVE THANKS. It's the month we count our blessing and share what we are thankful for. Although we Lollipop Girls at C.S.D. are thankful for so many different things, we would like to throw a curveball your way and we're hoping you won't dodge.

Instead of sharing what we are thankful for this season, we want to share our secrets with you all. In return, we hope you share yours as well. There's no shame to this game!

Here is my take on the challenge...

And here is the journaling
The name calling, the insults, the constant criticism

started at 4 years old, as far as I can remember.

I can’t say I totally understand the Lords decision

to make you my mother. But regardless you are. And

even through all the pain and agony I still love you.

And hope for a mother daughter relationship free of

name calling, and pain.

This was hard to do. But provided alot of therapy. I have been wanting to scrap about this for a while. This drives me to have a healthy relationship with my children. It's my goal to constantly remind them that I love them, and have their backs no matter what. Because that's what motherhood is right? Love?!?!

MLS Bookmarks & a fun tutorial

So I am back on the ball this week. I have been spring cleaning the house to get ready for the upcoming Holiday. Yes, I know spring is over, but when you've got as much catching up as I do, ten it's spring cleaning. I have the common areas done and under control. But I've gotta tackle the girls room, garage, backyard, front yard, master bedroom, and the scrap room. The scraproom isn't that bad if I could find it in myself to put away the things I decided NOT to use. Instead I just move it to the side and pull out more stuff. Uh- what's a girl to do?

Let's talk scrap...
I made some fun bookmarks for my son and I. Since we are the readers of the family. Mainly because the other two children are still so young. And my hubby likes to buy the books but not take the time to read them.

aren't they fun? And so easy to make, not to mention practical.

If you've been over to scrapbook Daisies online store and forum lately you have seen all the fun tutorials and tips our DT has to offer. We'll it was my turn to share something fun. Click here to check it out. Here is a sneak peek...

If you leave a comment here on my blog, leave a comment on the forum thread telling us what you think of the tut, you will have a chance to win some fun My Little Shoebox Mini Alphabet Stickers.
Chat with you tomorrow or on the thread :)

Candy Shoppe Designs

Happy November girls, It's really fall now and I can't wait to play with all the fun fall lines coming. And what better way to get that mojo going than with some good old fashioned challenges. Well, sort of :)
I am so pleased to announce that I am one of the newest members of Candy Shoppe Designs, yes you heard it right. I am a lollipop girl!! Yummy! And what better way to announce the news than with a brand new challenge.

Candy shoppe has two challenges a month. One on the first of course, and
the other on the 15th. Here is the Nov 1st challenge.

Animal Print:

Create a project using Animal print in anyway that inspires you. Or use animals on your layout.

And here is my take on the challenge.

I decided to go Hybrid. I have always been strickly a paper scrapper, and I adore my glue, paper, and scissors. But I came across Kitschy Digitals Blog and fell in love. I found the woodland collection and knew I wanted to give hybrid a try. I bought 3 of the digi kits and can't wait to use the other two. Isn't my little dear just so cute. She's adorable with her flower on her head :)

Our sponsor this month is Blue Moon Scrapbooking. Be sure to check them out, they have all the latest and greatest goodies.

We hope to see you play along with us for this challenge. Click here for more details
