Happy Birthday Jeremiah & CSD Challenge

Happy 10th Birthday to a super special kid. He is fun loving, smart, and all mine :)
I can't believe how fast the years are moving on by. And how fast you are growing up. I'd like for him to STOP it, please!! This is his last year of elementary and I am shivering in my boots. What am I gonna do when girls start calling, or even worse he wants to call them????????????? Oh no!! my stomach just started to hurt. Ok, Ok, deep breathes, calm down self. Ok I'm back!!

Happ Birthday Baby!!

Now onto some Dirty little secrets. Yes, you read it right. That is the name of the challenge this week for Candy Shoppe Designs. And wait until you see what the girls have done, wow!

November is usually the month people GIVE THANKS. It's the month we count our blessing and share what we are thankful for. Although we Lollipop Girls at C.S.D. are thankful for so many different things, we would like to throw a curveball your way and we're hoping you won't dodge.

Instead of sharing what we are thankful for this season, we want to share our secrets with you all. In return, we hope you share yours as well. There's no shame to this game!

Here is my take on the challenge...

And here is the journaling
The name calling, the insults, the constant criticism

started at 4 years old, as far as I can remember.

I can’t say I totally understand the Lords decision

to make you my mother. But regardless you are. And

even through all the pain and agony I still love you.

And hope for a mother daughter relationship free of

name calling, and pain.

This was hard to do. But provided alot of therapy. I have been wanting to scrap about this for a while. This drives me to have a healthy relationship with my children. It's my goal to constantly remind them that I love them, and have their backs no matter what. Because that's what motherhood is right? Love?!?!

Don't forget to check out our Sponsor this month.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope to hear from you ladies tomorrow for some Sketchy Thursdays fun. And on Friday for the My Little Shoebox Thanksgiving Blog Hop. If you haven't already please read the post below, there's a RAK in there :)
Happy scrapping girls!!

  2. Hey girlie!!! WONDERFUL pics of that gorgeous son of yours!!! A big Happy Birthday wish to him. Yes, deep breaths!! You could always tell him what we tell our kids... no dating til their 30!! LOL (of course, we are kidding!) But it is fun to joke. I am glad it was great therapy to do that LO with your mother. I can completely relate. Mine with my mother has always sucked. I try with my kids. Yes, even Laura. LOL She knows that we are here for her, even when we are frustrated with her. Big hugs to you!!!
