WARNING!!! WARNING!!! Picture heavy post. I had such a super fun weekend. I received the Noel Mignon March kit which is amazing and worth ever penny. It is by far the best kit I have ever received. I took it with me to my Saturday Crop at Scrapper Boutique with the lovely, and crazy talented Leslie Ashe. Ok, this was my first time meeting Leslie in person. We have talked a few times, emailed, and texted. But she is soooooo much more fun in person (and tons on cyber space). She is my kind of lady, she likes to talk, laugh, scrap, and she isn't camerea shy. Cherie (the owner of Scrappers Boutique ) is in the photo with us. I love this lady she is sooooo sweet and talented herself. If you are in the DFW area and haven't stopped by the store yet, be sure to do it. Oh and get this I even had the chance to talk to the amazingly talented Kimberly Garofolo who is a dear friend of Leslie's. Also Leslie had a chance to talk to a dear friend of mine the awesomely talented Myia Manghum. So we just had ourselves a scrappy getting to know each other session. And I pray we have many many more. Thanks gals for such an awesome weekend!!

Creative Scrappers Reveal

Hey guys!!!

Hope everyone had a romance filled V-Day. I had a fab one. While we didn't make the marriage conference which I was sad about. We did get a chance to hang out without our 3 cuties,lol. They hung out with their Grandparents and we went to Dallas.

Steven had it all planned out. We started out with a movie (Valentines Day,very cute movie), then we headed to "300" a super cool bowling alley in Addison. Then to finish the evening we ate dinner at the Olive Garden and then laughed the night away at the Improv. So big fun for us!!

I was asked to give an interview for the lovely and talented Essence vibez

Essence thanks girl for such a wonderful honor. I had fun doing it. You rock and I love your work. Thanks again!!

Some Pre V-Day Projects

I love Valentines Day all that comes with it. I hope each of you have a fun weekend planned and most important a safe one.
Steven and I are headed to a marriage conference at our church (Gateway). I expect to experience great things in Christ and our marriage this weekend. I am already married to an awesome man. But when you put Christ in the center of that you are guaranteed to have a successful marriage. I am so excited and this conference is right on time. Our 5 year anniversary is approaching. Wow, 5 years and so many wonderful blessings later. I am so excited and blessed. I hope to be blogging again Sunday and have some more fun things to share. Thanks ladies chat with you all soon :-)

21 days to seek him...

21 Days...

For 21 days I am fasting, praying, and seeking the Lord in every way possible. I long/need/desire/ to be closer to him this year. I will take time from the things of this world and start off my year by dedicating it to the Lord. While, doing my daily Bible study I read this devotional about... (I don't know how many times). But I wanted to share it with all who would take the time to read it. I pray you will not only read it but receive the salvation available to all of us through the blood of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior (Romans 5:8)

There is no command in Scripture to memorize God's Word. But it is clear that memorization furnishes us with:
Tools for effective service: "The Scriptures are the comprehensive equipment of the man of God, and fit him fully for all branches of his work." (2 Timothy 3:17, Phillips) (Ever hear someone say, "Well, somewhere in the Bible it says… ")
Victory over temptation: When faced with Satan's onslaughts, Christ immediately and effectively quotes Scripture: "It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God'… Then the devil left Him… " (Matthew 4:4, 7, 10, 11).
Obedience to God, and success in life: "This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous and then you will have good success." (Joshua 1:8)

Living with Christ in a victorious fashion without gaining command of the Scriptures is like:

Typing with arthritic feet
with wool socks on
upside down,
blindfolded
60 feet underwater – in ice cold sewage
while choking on a clogged air hose… that leaks
as someone shoots at you with a poisonous spear gun

So… What are you waiting for? Get going on your Scripture memory!

I can't express how excited I am to be one of the new members of the SHIMMERZ PAINTS Design Team. I am thankful to the Lord for blessing me with this opportunity to design/create for such a wonderful manufacturer with such amazing products. MERRY CHRISTMAS

I finally finished Christmas shopping, got one party out of the way. And Still have two more to attend, and one to throw. I haven't' even wrapped A gift. Or finished my grocery shopping for the party. But I have done a little scrapping. Talk about having your priorities straight LOL.

I want to take this time to wish each and everyone of you a beautiful Merry Christmas and an even better new year.
