It's beginning to look alot like christmas...

I am a huge fan of the christmas seaons. Which makes lots of sense since Christmas and Fall run together :) I love the crowds, shopping, candy canes, bright happy colors, pine smelling trees, and the whimsical make believe. It's all so childlike and happy :)

This month Martha has done it again with some amazing kits featuring We R Memory keepers, Echo Park, and I Believe from Little Yellow Bicycle. Each of these kits can be seen here.

Over the next few days I wanna share some of the things I've been working on. Yes I have been working on something-- I haven't been MIA for nothing:) Well not totally

We've trimmed the tree, decorated the house, and even started to get gifts. That's great for us, we are usually behind on that sort of thing.

Ok onto the super fun stuff. I decided to have alot of Holiday fun with this kit. So I made a few different projects other than my normal layouts.
Here is the first one. My first tree form. Tons of fun making this!!

And final for today...
my very first hand made ornament :) I got the red glass backing from Hobby Lobby for 50 cents, Whooohooo! Gotta love a deal like that

I hope you enjoy these as much as I did making them. I have more to share from this kit. Please stop by for some more fun Sunday. Saturday I will be revealing my fun Holly Jolly project from My Little Shoebox. If you haven't stopped by the MLS blog. Be sure to stop by and check out all the amazing DT projects using our fab Christmas Line. Thanks for stopping by...
Happy Scrapping Girls!!

CSD Challenge & Sketchy Thursdays Sketch

For this challenge you don't necessarily have to create something around a superhero per se, but you can create something around someone you consider your hero in life. Give them the recognition they so deserve!

here is my take on the challenge

And now for some sketchy fun

and my take on the sketch
I love this line, one of my favorites from last year. This year in Tx we have had an unusally warm fall. We are still in the 70's. Bailey asked if she could go outside and blow bubbles. While watching her I thought to myself - this is her Indian Summer.

Thanks for stopping by ladies. Hope you all get to play along with us :)
